GENMAX EM904 — 4-Head 9-Needle Industrial Embroidery Machine

The EM904 is the four-head build of our large-format embroidery platform. Embroidery area is 500 x 800 mm and head spacing is 500 mm, the same as the three-head EM903 — what changes is throughput. Four heads means four finished pieces per cycle instead of three, from the same single design load and the same one operator. On repeat label and brand-mark work that is a third more output for no extra labour.

Head spacing is the spec most sellers don't quote. Most multi-head machines sit at 400 mm centre to centre. The EM904 is at 500 mm — we measure it on the machine rather than quote it off a sheet. That extra 100 mm per gap is width a frame can actually use. For anyone running large panels it is the difference between one setup and two, and every re-hooping costs operator time and adds a chance to misalign the design.

Full servo drive, not steppers. Three servo motors drive the head lift and the X and Y axes. The frame is driven rather than stepped, which is what keeps curves smooth and satin stitches even once the machine is at production speed.
